2026 National Championship

Invitation‑Only Event for Qualified Players

The Soccer Wars National Championship brings together the top performers from the 2024–2026 National Qualifier Series. This event is invitation‑only and includes Player Wars and Goalie Wars divisions. Skill Wars is not part of the National Championship.

Only players who earned qualification through official City Tour events are eligible to register.

Your performance during the 2024–2026 City Tour earned you a place on the national stage. The National Championship is designed to celebrate your achievement, challenge your skills, and bring together top competitors from across the country in a fun, fast‑paced, and supportive environment.

All invited players will receive a private registration link by email. This event is not open to the public.

Qualification is based strictly on results from official Soccer Wars City Tour events. Invitations are awarded by age bracket and division.

Player Wars Qualification

Player Wars invitations are awarded based on final placement within each age bracket.

• 1st Place Individual — Automatically Qualified  The top individual finisher earns a guaranteed spot at Nationals.

• 1st Place Team — Qualified but Waitlisted  All team members receive waitlisted status and may register if space becomes available.

Why some players are waitlisted:  Player Wars has limited field space and a capped number of Nationals slots. Waitlisted players are invited based on competitive balance and available openings.

Goalie Wars Qualification

Goalie Wars invitations are awarded based on individual placement within each age bracket.

• 1st Place Individual — Automatically Qualified  The champion in each age group receives a guaranteed Nationals spot.

• 2nd Place Individual — Qualified but Waitlisted  Eligible to register if space becomes available.

• 3rd Place Individual — Qualified but Waitlisted  Eligible to register if space becomes available.

Why some players are waitlisted:  Goalie Wars brackets fill quickly due to the 1v1 format and limited field capacity. Waitlisted players are offered spots as openings occur to maintain competitive balance.

Important Notes

• Qualification is tied to the individual player, not a team or club.

• Waitlisted players will be notified when registration spots open.

• Invitations cannot be transferred or deferred to future years.

• Skill Wars results do not qualify players for Nationals.

This is a Stay & Play event. Hotel booking information will be provided to invited families.

The National Championship features the same fast‑paced, individualized format as our City Tour. Players compete in short, high‑energy rounds designed to showcase skill, creativity, and decision‑making.

Divisions Offered

• Player Wars
  • A fast-paced, small-sided (primarily 4v4) individualized competition built for field players who want constant involvement and impact.
  • Players switch opponents after each game, competing in high-tempo, open-play environments that demand creativity, decision-making, and technical execution. Individual rankings are based on how each player helps their team succeed in every match — with overall standings determining Player Wars Champions.
    • Small-sided, high-intensity format
    • Multiple touches and nonstop involvement
    • Rotating opponents & teammates each round
    • Individual rankings based on team performance
• Player Wars rewards players who compete, adapt, and elevate those around them.

• Goalie Wars

  A 1v1 goalkeeper competition focused on shot‑stopping, distribution, and handling pressure. Keepers face each other across a short field and alternate between attacking and defending.

A detailed schedule will be released closer to the event date. Families can expect:

All players are guaranteed multiple rounds of play.

This event is Stay & Play. All out‑of‑town families are required to book through our approved hotel partners. This ensures the lowest negotiated rates and keeps all players close to the venue. Hotel link coming soon.

The National Championship will be hosted at a premier facility to ensure consistent playing conditions.

The National Championship is designed to be a memorable, high‑quality experience for players and families.

Nationals is designed to be competitive, fast‑paced, and safe. Players still play the game, but all divisions operate in a controlled environment that prioritizes athlete protection and fair play.

• No slide tackling

• Minimal contact (shoulder‑to‑shoulder allowed; no charging, pushing, or reckless challenges)

• No challenges from behind

• All play is controlled and skill‑focused to protect athletes and maintain a safe environment

• Referees and staff oversee all matches to ensure safety and consistency

Is this event open to the public?  No. Only invited players may register.

What if we cannot attend?  If your player cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the spot to another qualified player. 

Can siblings attend as spectators?  Yes, families are welcome to watch.

What if my child qualified in both divisions?  Players must choose one division for Nationals.

Are refunds available?  Refund policies will be included in the registration link.
