Soccer Wars Expands with First Tournament Partnership in California

Turlock, CA – September 27, 2025 – Soccer Wars, the nation’s leading individualized competition platform, is proud to announce a new chapter in its growth: launching as an exciting add-on festival event at established youth tournaments. The first stop will be the Luis Memorial Soccer Tournament in Turlock, California, where Soccer Wars will bring its one-of-a-kind player showcase to the Central Valley.
Soccer Wars was built to give players of all ages and positions a chance to shine on a neutral, individualized stage. By teaming up with tournaments across the U.S., Soccer Wars now offers an added layer of excitement for teams, players, and families—bringing festival-style competitions alongside traditional gameplay.
Goalie Wars: A Stage for the Keepers
At the heart of Soccer Wars is Goalie Wars, a high-energy 1v1 competition where goalkeepers finally take center stage. In these electrifying matchups, keepers face off head-to-head in small-sided battles, showcasing their shot-stopping, distribution, and bravery in a way rarely seen in regular match play. It’s a fan favorite that brings entire teams and families to the sidelines to cheer.
Skill Wars: Five Stations, Endless Bragging Rights
Complementing Goalie Wars is Skill Wars, an interactive showcase of technical ability across five fun and challenging stations. Players can test themselves on accuracy, speed, control, creativity, and power—all designed to highlight skills without adding fatigue during tournament play. Winners at each station earn bragging rights, recognition, and the chance to be part of something bigger.
Club Competition: Bragging Rights on the Line
Beyond individual glory, Soccer Wars also introduces a club competition overlay for the teams already participating in the tournament. Each player who signs up for Soccer Wars contributes points toward their club. The more players who participate, the more opportunities a club has to climb the standings. As players advance and rank higher in Skill Wars and Goalie Wars, their club earns additional points.
At the end of the event, the Top Club will be crowned—recognized for producing the most “ballers” in the Soccer Wars competition. While individuals will walk away with hardware and recognition, the winning club earns bragging rights and notoriety across the tournament community for developing standout players.
A Festival Feel, A National Movement
For Soccer Wars CEO Casey Clark, a former professional goalkeeper, launching this initiative in his home state of California is both personal and historic.
“It’s an honor to launch this new arm of Soccer Wars right here in Turlock,” said Clark. “Our goal has always been to give back to the soccer community by creating fun, small-sided competitions that also bring added value to tournaments already taking place. This is another step toward building the player revolution—where players become ballers.”
Soccer Wars plans to expand this model nationally, bringing Goalie Wars, Skill Wars, and the club bragging rights competition to tournaments across the U.S. as a way to amplify events, create unforgettable experiences, and offer players and clubs a platform to stand out.
