Soccer Wars Announces Partnership with Maverick Goalkeeper Academy
Soccer Wars is proud to announce a new partnership with Maverick Goalkeeper Academy, a respected goalkeeper development academy founded by Kris Hall and built to provide high-level goalkeeper training, education, and mentorship for players of all ages and levels.
MGA has become a trusted name in goalkeeper development by focusing on the unique needs of the position and helping keepers better understand both the technical and tactical side of the game. With a shared passion for player development, competition, education, and creating more opportunities for youth athletes, Soccer Wars and MGA are excited to officially join forces.
This partnership is designed to strengthen the goalkeeper community while creating a clearer pathway for players to train, compete, and be recognized.
Through this collaboration, winners of select MGA local Goalie Wars competitions will receive free entry into Soccer Wars National Qualifying events. MGA participants will also receive exclusive discounts to Soccer Wars events, helping lower the barrier of entry for players and families who want to be part of the Soccer Wars experience.
Together, Soccer Wars and MGA will support each other through local events, training opportunities, goalkeeper education, and competitive platforms that give players more chances to grow within the game.
Soccer Wars would also like to recognize Robert Sams, Director of Operations for Maverick Goalkeeper Academy, for helping bring this opportunity forward and for his commitment to finding ways both organizations can work together to better support the goalkeeper community.
At the heart of this partnership is a shared belief that organizations can make a bigger impact when they work together. Instead of separating opportunities, Soccer Wars and MGA are creating a stronger connection between goalkeeper training, individualized competition, and national-level exposure.
Soccer Wars gives players the chance to compete in a fun, high-energy, club-neutral environment where they can steal the spotlight, test themselves against different players, and earn opportunities through performance. MGA brings trusted goalkeeper education, mentorship, and training to the local community. Together, the two organizations are building a better pathway for goalkeepers to learn, compete, and be seen.
“I'm excited for this opportunity and want to thank Robert Sams for helping bring this partnership to the table,” said Casey Clark, CEO of Soccer Wars. “We have talked about different ways to support the goalkeeper community together, and now with this partnership, we’re able to make it official and work hand in hand to give back to the next generation of keepers and players. It creates more opportunities, more visibility, and more fun for the kids, while also shining light on the camps, training, and events we both believe in. Partnerships like this feel like a win-win-win, and anything we can do to give back to the younger version of ourselves is something I’ll always be excited about.”
“We are excited to help grow the love and passion for the game through unique experiences like Soccer Wars,” said Robert Sams, Director of Operations for Maverick Goalkeeper Academy.
Through this partnership, Soccer Wars and Maverick Goalkeeper Academy are committed to helping players compete, grow, and chase the game in a way that is fun, meaningful, and player-focused.
